Reel Philosophy doesn’t use advertising trackers, and its fonts are served from this site, not from a third party. It does measure how the site is read, as described below.

Analytics

The site uses Google Tag Manager to run Google Analytics, which tells us which pages are read, how readers find the site, and roughly where and on what devices they read it. Your cookie choices

If you’re visiting from the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, Google Analytics sets no cookies until you agree, and the site asks you once. Your answer is stored in your browser, not on our servers. Anyone, anywhere, can change their choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver and protect it. SeeCloudflare’s privacy policy.

Where to watch

Each essay includes a widget from JustWatch that lists where the film is streaming. It loads from JustWatch’s servers, and JustWatch states that the widget itself collects no personal data under the GDPR. Newsletter

Newsletter signups aren’t open yet. When they are, this page will name the service that stores subscribers’ email addresses.
